Remembering an icon

No healthcare debate. Not today.
No matter what your position on healthcare reform, today’s issues must be put on hold.
The passing of Sen. Ted Kennedy compels us to pause and reflect on the passing of a true advocate.
Among those causes that the Massachusetts Senator held most dear, healthcare reform topped the list.
You may agree with his positions; you may disagree.
What is indisputable is Sen. Kennedy’s passion and compassion, especially for those who are less fortunate.
And today, as the nation mourns the passing of a political icon, that is something we can all embrace.
